At the Lyon County Board of Supervisors’ meeting Monday, July 23 approved signing a business associate agreement with Iowa Counties Technology Services, a network utilized by Lisa Rockhill.
A resolution that sought to appropriate 90 percent of the appropriations that had already been budgeted as well as including payments for the mural and annex projects were approved. The mural project costs reached upwards of $45,000.
Utility accommodations for REC and Premier Communications were approved as well as the slide repair coverage for A18 just west of the graveyard in Rock Rapids, the slide being a result of this year’s flood damage.
Alvord’s law enforcement contract was approved for another two years and all of the zoning and the six-year Civil Service Commission appointments were approved.
