Miriam Cunningham, 65, of Round Lake, Minnesota, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021 at Luverne Hospice Cottage in Luverne, Minnesota, after a battle with cancer.
Funeral service was Saturday, Feb. 27, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Worthington, Minnesota, with interment in Round Lake Cemetery.
Miriam LuAnn Dammann was born April 12, 1955, in Sibley, Iowa, to Kenneth and LuEtta (Russman) Dammann. She graduated from Little Rock High School in 1973 and from the tailoring program at Pipestone Area Vocational Technical Institute in 1974.
On Sept. 12, 1981, she married Paul Cunningham in Little Rock, Iowa. They made their home in Round Lake. She worked for Bishop’s Clothing, Enderson’s Clothing and Jazz’s Bridal before becoming an in-home daycare provider for 34 years.
Survivors include her husband; three children, Thomas (Angie) Cunningham of Round Lake, Sarah (Eric) Winters of Bingham Lake, Minnesota, and Benjamin Cunningham; five grandchildren; two siblings, Tim (Lisa) Dammann of Little Rock and Naomi (Bruce) Lubben of Worthington, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
