Darrell Christians, 80, of Miami, Florida, formerly of Little Rock, Iowa, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021, at Jackson South Medical Center in Miami.
Prayer service was Saturday, Feb. 13, at Salem Reformed Church, Little Rock, with interment in Pleasant View Cemetery, Little Rock.
Darrell Neil Christians was born Feb. 18, 1940, in Sibley, Iowa, son of Fred W. and Hattie (Frye) Christians. He grew up in the Sibley and Little Rock area and served in the U.S. Army four years.
In 1960, he married Janice Venenga. He lived in several different states and in 1992 moved to. He was self-employed as a real estate investor.
Survivors include seven his seven children, Darnell (Amy) Christians of Spirit Lake, Iowa, Janell (Todd) Recker of Adrian, Minnesota, Dean (Barb) Christians of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Craig (Karen) Christians of Blue Earth, Minnesota, Jeff (Christina) Christians of Harrisburg, South Dakota, Rick (Jessica) Christians of Sioux Falls and Kathy (Corey) Kruse of Lake Wilson, Minnesota; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lorraine King.
