Charles Wyatt, 83, of George, Iowa, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, at Good Samaritan Society in George.

Charles “Chuck” or “Doc” Wyatt was born Feb. 11, 1937, at Hardy, Iowa, to Oscar and Una Mae Wyatt. He grew up in Hardy and graduated from Hardy High School. He attended Iowa State University, graduating in 1960 with a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
On May 28, 1960, he married Beth Kunz. They made their home at Fonda, Iowa, until 1974 when they moved to George and he joined the George Veterinarian practice. He became a resident of George Good Samaritan Society in June 2020. He was a member of George Emergency Medical Service, Boy Scouts of America as Scoutmaster, George Wheelchair Repair and Lyon County Conservation Board.
Survivors include his wife; his children, Garet (Teresa) Wyatt of George, Kristin Wyatt (Cathy Tschumper) of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, and Emmy (Tim) McCalley of Pittsboro, Indiana; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one sister, Alta Johnson of Akron, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Burl Wyatt and Virgil Wyatt, and sisters, Etta Ogan and Alma Seely.
